AirMentor was established in the early days of the global pandemic (April 2020), in response to students experiencing extreme loneliness while learning from home for extended periods of time.

During the pandemic, AirMentor provided a supportive environment, free of judgement, for students to talk to a mentor about the challenges they were facing while learning online at home and being isolated from their friends and outside interests. 

AirMentor now provides personalised mentoring and guidance on study options and career pathways for young persons, aligning closely with the Global Loneliness Initiative.
